Macewan Edmonton Real Estate

The Macewan Edmonton real estate average sale price per square foot has consistently been $15 to $20 less than the Edmonton average sold price per square foot except for one quarter in the past 3 years.  MacEwan did see the average selling price per square foot exceed the Edmonton average in the first quarter of 2010, but that was the exception.  Over the last 2 years, Macewan has been over $240/sq ft on average.  I expect to see Macewan to stay close to the Edmonton average, the Macewan neighbourhood is the closest "newer" neighbourhood to the LRT at Century Park.  I know I have sold many condos and starter duplexes to buyers looking to be close to the LRT in a newer home, particularly parents buying for their kids going to the University of Alberta.
