The Grovenor Edmonton real estate average sale price per square foot has been very strong so far in 2012.  So far in April and the beginning of May, Grovenor has been averaging a sale price of $360 per square foot.  What is interesting in Grovenor, is that you used to only see higher priced homes selling south of 102 avenue in the Capital Hill area of Grovenor.  Now, you are seeing homes sell over $600,000 in the northern part of Grovenor too.  Grovenor has definitely been strengthened due to it's location next to the ravine, closeness to downtown and the high property values of the bordering neighbourhoods of Crestwood and Glenora.  The highest sale price for a home in Grovenor in 2012 has been $685,000.  The average time to sell a house in Grovenor has been 70 days in 2012.  That is a little longer than the Edmonton average of 48 days on market in 2012.  One of the sales in Grovenor took 192 days and that is what skewed the average higher so far in 2012.
