The Garneau home sale price per square foot is continuing to reach into that $400 plus range.  Garneau has shot up from a lower price per square foot in late 2011, and the general trendline has been up ever since that low. I enjoy looking at this area as I lived in Garneau for 4 years, and am always amazed at how resilient and strong Garneau is. This isn't too surprising, the land close to the University of Alberta is very valuable.  Lots are being rezoned into higher density categories, and as a result prices should continue to rise.  The highest sale price for a home in Garneau in the last 12 months has been $710,000.  The average time to sell a home in Garneau has been a brisk 21 days in 2013.  The Edmonton average days on market so far in 2013 is sitting at 44 days.
