The Gold Bar home sale price per square foot continues to sell in the $320 plus range.  There was one weaker quarter for Gold Bar at the end of 2012, but since the 2nd quarter of 2012 Gold Bar has managed to sell over $300 per square foot most of the time.  The Gold Bar area is a little more affordable than nearby Capilano.  That is to be expected as Capilano is closer to the river valley and there are homes with views that command more money in Capilano.  That being said, Gold Bar is a great "shoulder" neighbourhood next to a more expensive area.  You can be in the same area for a more affordable price.  The highest sale price for a home in Gold Bar in the last 12 months was $615,950.  The average time to sell a home in Gold Bar in 2013 has been 39 days.
