Leger Whitemud Oaks Real Estate Sale Prices

The Leger Whitemud Oaks real estate sale price per square foot has performed well recently, and is selling at $281 per square foot in June of 2013.  Leger used to sell for $20 to $30 per square foot less than the Edmonton average selling price per square foot.  Now, Leger is selling very close to the Edmonton average sold price per square foot.  A couple things have happened recently that could explain this.  The Terwillegar Rec Centre was opened and also there have been schools recently built in the area.  I've noticed that schools being built in newer subdivisions tend to help the neighbourhood's value. The highest selling price for a home in Leger has been $635000 in 2013.  The average time to sell a house in Leger has been 36 days in 2013.  That is a little quicker than the Edmonton days on market average of 41.
