Global National news interviewed me recently regarding our home prices in Edmonton and if Edmonton was in a housing bubble. They were interested to know how house prices have behaved since 2005. I provided them average selling price data on all the neighbourhoods in Edmonton and they created a cool interactive map on their website showing neighbourhood price appreciation. It is a good article that is worth checking out, it also brings up the international study that analyzes home prices in major cities worldwide and compares them to incomes. Our household incomes are what have been driving our real estate prices in Edmonton, and in my opinion (based on stats and facts) I don't think we have to worry about an Edmonton Housing Bubble.
