The Ottewell Edmonton real estate average sale price per square foot fell this past quarter, and it has moved closer to the Edmonton average selling price per square foot. The Ottewell sold price per square foot did recover in the 1st quarter of 2011, rising $13/sq ft. This 2nd quarter in Ottewell saw a drop to levels not seen since 2009. The days on market average was low in Ottewell, only 29 days versus 42 days to sell in the overall Edmonton market. Part of the reason for the low selling price per square foot in Ottewell was the fact that some larger homes sold. Larger homes tend to sell for a lower price per square foot than a small home.
