Brintnell is located in Northeast Edmonton. Brintnell has reasonable access to the Clareview LRT Station, which is the northeast terminus of the LRT (light rail transit) line. Most of the homes in the neighbourhood were built in the 2000's, and the area is popular for commuters to Fort Saskatchewan which is easily reached along Manning Freeway. There is one condo complex in the neighbourhood, Brintnell Landing, but most of the residential properties are single family detached homes. There really isn't any commercial development in the neighbourhood, most of the shopping can be done further south along the Manning Freeway or along 50th street and 137 avenue nearby. There are no schools in the neighbourhood, but the area next door in Hollick Kenyon does have the Dr Donald Massey Elementary and Junior High School.
