 The Cumberland neighbourhood in northwest Edmonton is built around a man made lake. A popular area within the neighbourhood is The Signature Pointe area which features large homes with walkout lots backing onto the lake. The area is also known as the developer's name for it, Skyview. Located in the northwest area of the city, the main access to is off of 127th Street to the east. The 127 street interchange with Anthony Henday has helped lessen traffic congestion in the 127 street and 137 avenue area. The oldest homes in the area were built in the 1990s, but most of the construction of single family residential units took place in the early 2000s.
