Hollick-Kenyon is located in northeast Edmonton. It is named after a famous aviator Herbert Hollick-Kenyon, who had flown over the Antarctic on a mapping mission. The neighbourhood has good access to the Anthony Henday Freeway, and the majority of the buildings are single family detached homes. Duplexes make up roughly 10% of the homes. Most of the construction began in the 1990's, 1992 to be exact. There is also a storm water lake that provides greenspace for the neighbourhood and it is located in the southwest section of the neighbourhood. There are also several pathways throughout the area and parks. Hollick Kenyon was designed to include a wide range of housing and ensure the existence of reasonably priced housing.
