Lymburn is a great family neighbourhood located in the west end of Edmonton.  There is good access to 178th street and the Whitemud freeway, Anthony Henday Drive is also easily accessed from the area.  There are two schools in the neighbourhood, St. Martha Elementary and Lymburn Elementary.  There is ample shopping nearby in the Callingwood Market that is located along 178 street.  There is an open air Farmer's Market in the summer in the Callingwood Market, that west end residents enjoy.   For recreational needs, there are soccer and baseball diamonds as well as the Jamie Platz YMCA within walking distance of the neighbourhood.  Based on sales over the last several years, 69% of the residential properties sold in the neighbourhood were single family detached homes.  Condos make up 30% of the resale market, and the remainder of the market (1%) consists of duplexes.  The condo complexes in the neighbourhood include: Willow Court, Surrey Gardens, Willowridge and Sunset Point.
