The Jackson Heights Millwoods real estate average sale price per square foot has finally broken above the Edmonton average selling price per square foot this April.  Mind you this is only based on April, and it could change as we move further into the second quarter of 2012.  The average selling price per square foot in Jackson Heights has spiked in the past for only one quarter and then fall back.  Part of the reason that Jackson Heights has a lower average sale price per square foot is that roughly half of the sales in the past 12 months have been two story style homes.  This style of home sells for a lower price per square foot than a bungalow or bilevel.  The highest sale price for a home in Jackson Heights in 2012 has been $568,800.  This was also the highest sale price for a home in Millwoods so far in 2012.  The average time to sell a home in Jackson Heights in 2012 has been 42 days.  That is a couple days quicker than the Millwoods average days on market of 44 in 2012.  The average days on market average in all of Edmonton is now at 48 days.
