Leger Edmonton Real Estate

The Leger Edmonton real estate average sale price per square foot has pushed above the Edmonton average sold price per square foot in 2012.  Leger has often approached the Edmonton average selling price per square foot and then retreated in the past.  At the end of 2011, Leger pushed up to the Edmonton average, and in the first quarter of 2012 confidently broke above the Edmonton average.  So far in the second quarter (as of today, June 5th) the Leger average sale price per square foot is holding above the Edmonton average.  I believe there are a couple possible reasons for this continued strength in Leger.  The new Terwillegar Recreation Centre is closeby and borders the neighbourhood, plus the connection of the Anthony Henday freeway with Terwillegar is another potential reason for the increasing sales price strength.  The highest sale price recorded in 2012 for a home in Leger was $655,500.  The average time to sell a house in Leger has been 95 days.  That is quite a bit slower than the 2012 Edmonton average days on market of 45 days.
