The Glastonbury (also known as Grange and Parkland) home sale price per square foot has had a softer start to 2013. Glastonbury finished 2012 above the Edmonton average selling price per square foot, but has went the opposite direction so far in 2013. I expect this to reverse, as the Glastonbury area continues to be popular with families and borders the growing neighbourhoods of the Hamptons and Granville. The new Costco location off Winterburn is conveniently close to Glastonbury. Fortunately, the road access is off of Winterburn Road for Costco, and therefore it doesn't impact traffic flow in the Glastonbury neighbourhood. The highest selling price for a home in Glastonbury in the last 12 months was $700,000. The average time to sell a house in Glastonbury in 2013 has been 40 days, that is a couple days quicker than the Edmonton average days on market of 43 this year.
