The Hamptons West Edmonton Home Sales

The Hamptons west Edmonton home sale price per square foot is sitting at $254 in September.  That is up from last quarter and the low of $224 per square foot that Hamptons started 2013 with.   The Hamptons normally sells within $10 to $20 of the Edmonton average selling price per square foot, and currently is roughly $20 off the Edmonton average.  So, I would expect the sale price per square foot to rise as we finish 2013.  The Hamptons is a very popular area and great for resale.  In fact, when you look at two story detached homes with attached garages in the starter market segment (that is where the lowest 60% of the home sales are) roughly 90% of the homes listed for sale sell.  That is very high and testifies to the Hamptons popularity with families.  The highest sale price for a home in the Hamptons was $845,000 so far in 2013.  The average time to sell a house in the Hamptons in the last 90 days has been 45 days.  That is a couple days off the Edmonton average days on market of 43.
