Athlone Dunvegan MLS® home sale

The Athlone Dunvegan MLS® home sale price per square foot has jumped up to $349 in October.  This is only based on two home sales though, and they were both in the newer area of Athlone called Dunvegan.  As has been mentioned on previous posts, Athlone can be erratic on a sold price per square foot basis.  This is due to the mixture of older and newer homes in the area, plus a higher percentage of basementless homes in the neighbourhood.  The highest sale price for a home in Athlone in 2013 has been $415,000.  The average time to sell a house in the Athlone area over the last 90 days has been 33 days.  That is 10 days faster than the Edmonton average days on market of 43 in the same time period.
